I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at April Lodge in Poole, and I must say, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. Wendy, our charming host, welcomed us with open arms, making our experience all the more memorable. The beautifully renovated room was spotless, with a lavishly spacious shower that could probably accommodate my three sons all at once-quite a feat! The breakfast spread was truly impressive, featuring everything from fresh fruit and pastries to vegan options, ensuring that even my more health-conscious companions were well catered for. After lounging in the hot tub under the stars, I couldn't help but think that this hidden gem is perfect not only for a quick city break but also for easy access to the Poole ferries. I would wholeheartedly recommend April Lodge; it's ideal for those of us who appreciate a touch of elegance when traveling!
